My client, an established clothing retailer, is on the market for their first-ever internal Shopify Plus Developer to join their team on a full-time basis.
This role will grant this Shopify Plus Engineer with a ton of internal ownership over my clients' Shopify Plus websites, where the primary focus of the role will initially be to help them wrap up their upgrade to Checkout Extensibility and to start the initiative of improving site speed. Long-term, my client will eventually look to make the migration from Shopify Plus to Headless Commerce (i.e. Hydrogen), where they're open to training this person in best practices, so this opportunity also presents a ton of exciting growth.
It's a full-time role, with a hybrid working model, where you'd have the opportunity to work with a built-out team of Shopify Plus subject matter experts (Leadership, Product, and Marketing teams are all well-versed) as well as alongside my client's Shopify Plus Development agency to make an immediate impact within their environment.
All candidates MUST be willing to work onsite 2-4 days/week and also MUST have exposure to Shopify Plus (not just Basic/Advanced).
Role Requirements:
- 3-5 years of Shopify PLUS (not Basic/Advanced) Development Experience
- 5+ years of JavaScript Development Experience
- Strong understanding of Shopify's Script Editor; exposure to Shopify Functions highly preferred
- Strong understanding of Checkout Extensibility within Shopify Plus
- Excellent exposure to improving Site Speed and Performance of eCommerce sites
- Robust background working with Shopify's Theme Builder
