Evolve is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to provide top-tier administrative support to a dynamic group of lawyers and professionals. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality administrative support by creating, formatting, editing, proofreading, and managing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Draft routine correspondence and forms under the supervision of legal professionals.
- Answer telephones, address routine inquiries, and route calls appropriately.
- Assist in managing lawyers' calendars, including scheduling appointments, meetings, depositions, and travel arrangements.
- Track and process reimbursements, invoices, and check requests.
- Conduct conflict checks, open new client matters, and draft engagement letters.
- Handle mail distribution, coordinate deliveries, and manage courthouse filings.
- Manage work requests using the firm’s workflow tool, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Perform routine filing, photocopying, scanning, and document distribution.
- Operate independently to complete complex assignments accurately and on time.
- Other responsibilities as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience supporting lawyers and paralegals with administrative tasks.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred experience with iManage document management system.
- Proficiency in core legal administrative functions with advanced technical and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, and punctuation.
- Ability to articulate thoughts and present new ideas effectively.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
