As the Warehouse Manager for Perfect Game, you’ll support and execute both strategic and tactical initiatives to optimize warehouse operations. You’ll also act as the central DC representative for PG Merchandising and Event Operations, ensuring internal teams act quickly while meeting profitability goals. You’ll be responsible for building processes & strategies to review new or challenging operational and financial opportunities.
We’ll need you to have strong people-management skills and warehouse knowledge. You’ll also need to be a true team player as collaboration with other business functions with Perfect Game will be key. You should be comfortable presenting summary level and detailed information to various audiences including peers, direct-reports, management and executives.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Operate PG Atlanta warehouse deliveries (inbound/outbound) and manage resources daily, ensuring timely fulfillment and accurate reporting
- Continually optimize warehouse operations for product locating, reporting accuracy, space utilization and inventory handling
- Support inventory movement through the organization (central DC and regional nodes) focused on financial success for PG Merchandising and Event Operations
- Partner cross-functionally and provide support on dedicated/direct cancellations and wholesale returns process
- Support defining & qualifying warehouse KPI success
- Ensure highly accurate reporting
- Implement inventory scrapping logic & efficiencies in the PG distribution pipeline
- Assist in building out new processes that lead to improved ways of working across Merchandising and Event Operations
- Provide transparency around internal/external issues that cause disruption in the network.
- Actively support cross-functional partners to build short-term and long-term processes that drive efficiencies and cost savings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience in DC operations, transportation or supply and inventory operations.
- 2+ years of Supply Chain or Order Fulfillment experience
- 2+ years of people-management experience
- Familiarity with omnichannel distribution concepts
- Proficiency with merchandising systems and data applications (Finale) as well as MS Office Suite
- Advanced Excel skills, including a strong ability to utilize pivot tables and V/X lookup formulas as well as manipulate formatting for effective data visualizations.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate clear vision and use storytelling to engage & influence people across all levels to take action.
- Project Management experience
- Successful process development experience
- High level understanding of end-to-end consumer product planning processes
- Cross-functional collaboration – able to create a broad network within the company
- Problem-solving ability to quickly identify and support the business according to changing internal or external market conditions.
