Mill Creek Law is looking to add to our team of skilled support staff to serve as our front office reception and back-office support. As a general practice law firm in Snohomish County, our attorneys offer a wide range of services to the community resulting in a high volume of client contact and coordination. The receptionist will be responsible for managing client contact and coordination. Additionally, the role expands to address our client billings, payments and account coordination with our offsite payroll and bookkeeping service.
Areas of responsibility will include:
- Answer incoming calls on multi-line phone system, monitor and route website inquiries and manage conference room calendaring and office supplies
- Manage payments and client billing practices
- Manage Trust account
- Compose correspondence, assist in routine drafting of pleadings and court correspondence
- Sort and scan correspondence
- Maintain network file organization
- Ability to perform attorney support services
- Assisting other legal assistants with overflow work and providing backup support during periods of annual or personal leave.
Qualifications:
Ideal qualifications include:
- 2+ years’ experience in fast-paced legal environment;
- Excellent and clear oral and written communication skills;
- Superior interpersonal skills and patience in communication with clients;
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload;
- Ability to take the initiative in handling projects and anticipating what needs to be done;
- High degree of organization, professionalism and dependability;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and time-keeping applications;
- Familiarity with QuickBooks; and
- Must display professionalism with clients, lawyers, paralegals and other staff members.
What We Offer:
Mill Creek Law offers a competitive total compensation package with salary commensurate with experience. Expected compensation range commensurate with experience of $50,000 - $65,000 per year. Benefits including but not limited to:
