Job Description:
- Drive cloud cost optimization by implementing frameworks, processes, and solutions across multiple cloud platforms.
- Implement and manage automated tools to help identify cost trends, anomalies, and track budget (actuals vs estimates).
- Participate in application/resource review (architectural design) to ensure adherence to cost savings wherever applicable.
- Provide expert knowledge on cloud cost optimization strategies (rightsizing, scheduling, decommissioning etc.).
- Ability to architect solutions befitting various applications and their needs. This includes public cloud, IaaS, PaaS, and on-premises applications.
- Lead application teams through cost optimization (Well-Architected Framework).
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to implement solutions.
- Support adoption and compliance of cost initiatives across the enterprise.
- Maintain several information repositories to include Confluence and SharePoint environments.
