Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health in a professional and compassionate manner. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with patients to educate them on proper oral hygiene practices and assist the dentist in various procedures.
Duties:
- Perform dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures under the supervision of a dentist
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive dental care
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Administer local anesthetics
- Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
- Assist with pediatric patients to ensure their comfort and safety
- Monitor vital signs during dental procedures
- Assist with dental coding and maintaining medical records
Skills:
- Proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices
- Experience working in a dental clinic setting
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is a plus
- Ability to perform aseptic techniques effectively
- Knowledge of dental coding and maintaining medical records
