About the Role: A poliitcal organization in California is seeking a dedicated and proactive Special Assistant & Scheduler. This role is crucial for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange travel and social itineraries, ensuring seamless and efficient schedules.
- Accompany leadership to a variety of events, meetings, and functions, providing support as needed.
- Manage administrative duties including document handling and receipt management.
- Respond to correspondence under the direction, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Coordinate outreach efforts with the COO/Executive Director and other staff members.
- Adapt to scheduling changes and manage immediate needs during travel to ensure commitments are met without disruption.
- Prepare and organize daily briefing materials to assist in day-to-day engagements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Political experience is required
- Prior experience in an assistant role is highly desirable but not required.
- Must be available to travel 50-75% of the time.
- Ability to work flexibly in a 24/7 environment.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Salary: $66,500 - $80,000 per annum, based on experience. Additional benefits include housing and transportation expenses.
