We are seeking a skilled network engineer with a strong focus on Fortinet products to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing Fortinet-based network solutions.
Hybrid – three days a week – Lexington, MA 02420.
Responsibilities
• Configure and optimize FortiGate NGFW, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, and other network security devices
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security and performance
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Escalation point for network-related issues
• Participate in projects
Requirements
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a network engineer, with a focus on Fortinet products
• Experience configuring and managing FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitches, and FortiAPs
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, STP, NAT, DNS, DHCP, CAPWAP, 802.11, 802.1q, LACP, VLANs, IKEv2, IPSEC, etc.)
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Certifications such as Fortinet NSE 4/5/6
