Your responsibilities
R&D Project Manager (pre-launch)
- Lead R&D efforts with structured project management, ensuring product alignment with market needs.
- Define product features and applications, fostering innovation within the team.
- Apply engineering expertise to refine solutions and oversee successful market launches.
- Develop short- and long-term product roadmaps, recommending new developments.
- Communicate project progress, results, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Product Line Manager (launch/post-launch)
- Assume full ownership/responsibility for the product's success internally and externally.
- Champion the product line, analyze market trends, and guide strategic decisions.
- Sets guidelines for product applications and process warranties while managing technical publications.
- Monitor competitiveness, prepare financial reports, and support customers with technical solutions.
- Manage Industry Sales Support (ISS) function and evaluate proposal risks.
- Develop global sales and marketing strategies, coordinate inventory management, and ensure project profitability through cross-functional collaboration
What You Bring:
- B.S. degree in engineering or science disciplines is preferred. Five to eight years (5-8) experience related to product line or process equipment.
- Interpret RFQ documents, specifications, and drawings—knowledge of marketing, bidding, and pricing techniques.
- Use of MS-Project, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools.
- Must communicate verbally and in writing, on a technical level, and make formal presentations.
- Must be proficient with a personal computer, using company-standard software.
- Demonstrate leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and customer-relations skills.
- Proven skills in planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Capability to travel internationally ~20%-40% (as Product Manager)
- Experience in running and managing pilot test programs along with data analysis is an advantage.
