Job Description:
Responsibilities
•Maintaining, monitoring azure subscriptions
•Helping with recurring DRI tasks and investigations
•Maintain infrastructure reliability and customer satisfaction
•Troubleshoot infrastructure related application issues
•Apply compliance updates (patch vulnerabilities, or improve security).
•Perform application deployments
•Build and maintain a reliable end to end test harness
•Implement end to end functionality that may involve UI changes in typescript, or backend changes in dotnet.
•Diagnose technical challenges by troubleshooting, analyzing logs, code, data, and supporting technical documentation
•Coordinate with external teams, if required, to maintain business continuity
•Adhere to defined practices and process
•Communicate progress frequently with the team and align to priorities/plan of delivery.
Must have Skills
•Azure DevOps pipelines setup experience and expertise in YAML
•Common scripting languages such as PowerShell, KQL
•Prior Azure experience, ARM templates, Bicep
•Prior experience setting up Azure infrastructure, Azure Kubernetes Services, Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs etc
•Must have experience setting up Azure Kubernetes Services - deploy and scale containers, setup monitoring for AKS etc
•Strong knowledge of software best practices for typescript, .NET and test/release automation.
•Strong knowledge of principles of working with REST APIs, SDK package management and release.
•Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make changes as needed to resolve issue.
Other
•Prior Microsoft experience would be valuable, as well as familiarity with these internal tools:
o OneBranch
o Geneva monitors
o Jarvis dashboards
o Ev2
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.
• 8+ years of industry experience required.
