About the Role:
Are you passionate about creating a safe and healthy workplace? As our Safety Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs, ensuring our employees go home safe every day. You’ll play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance, driving a positive safety culture, and controlling costs.
Work Schedule:
- Full-Time, Exempt
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (with some flexibility as needed)
What You’ll Do:
- Champion Safety: Promote a safe, incident-free workplace.
- Lead & Educate: Conduct safety training and lead Safety Committee meetings.
- Stay Compliant: Keep up with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Investigate & Improve: Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Manage Records: Maintain safety files, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate Programs: Oversee workers' compensation, safety audits, and emergency preparedness.
What You Bring:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Safety preferred. 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment required.
- Skills: Proficiency in OSHA regulations, MS Office, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Attributes: Team player, problem solver, and confident professional.
