Our client is looking to add a skilled software engineer to their Customer Communications team. This company has an award-winning company culture and is eager to find a passionate engineer that can help drive innovation.
Length: 4-month contract to hire
Location: Remote

Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable systems, services, and API’s
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Utilize automated CI/CD pipelines to deploy software packages in a DevOps environment
- Enable user analytics, logging, monitoring, and instrumentation for all services
- Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests
- Ability to work independently
- Collaborate with various team members and stakeholders on requirements definition and feature design and development
- Take part in agile ceremonies for estimation and execution of continuous product
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience as a software engineer with excellent design, problem solving and debugging skills
- Experience with .NET Core
- Hands on experience in building scalable systems using containers/serverless in AWS
- Knowledge of lamda functions
- Experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes or Docker. Kubernetes prefered.
- Experience in building RESTful services
- Experience with SQL for data persistence
- Experience in scrum and agile methodologies
Desired Qualifications
- Kubernetes experience
- React or a similar front-end framework
- Python Experience
- NoSQL experience
- Experience with OpenText Exstream or another CCM platform
