We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager of Analytics, Operations and Supply Chain to join the Global Operations team. The Global Operations team will oversee and lead the implementation of manufacturing, distribution logistics, sourcing, and supply chain activities. We will build, create, and enhance end-to-end operation strategies, processes, analytics, technology, and continuous improvement efforts.
As the Sr. Manager of Analytics, Operations and Supply Chain, you will lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of our analytics platform. This role is pivotal in leveraging data-driven insights to optimize operations across Plan, Make, Source, and Deliver functions within our Global Operations and Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will merge expertise in supply chain management with advanced digital technologies, empowering teams to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
This position reports to the Director, Global Operations Strategy & Network and is based out of one of our platform locations – Bozeman, Irvine, San Diego or Logan, UT.
As the Sr. Manager of Analytics, Operations and Supply Chain, you will have an opportunity to:
- Platform Development: Design and implement a robust analytics platform using tools like Excel, Power BI, and advanced analytics software (e.g., Azure-Databricks, Alteryx, Dataiku).
- Digital Transformation: Drive digital transformation initiatives, integrating new technologies to elevate analytics capabilities and operational efficiency.
- Data Stewardship: Collaborate with IT and departments to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across integrated platforms.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights into key performance metrics and operational trends.
- Advanced Analytics: Apply advanced analytics techniques, including Machine Learning and AI, to optimize decision-making and enhance customer-centric operations.
- Training & Leadership: Train and support team members in utilizing analytics tools effectively, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Documentation & Strategy: Develop comprehensive documentation, user guides, and contribute to shaping digital strategy aligned with global operational goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, present findings, and refine solutions based on feedback.
- Community Building: Establish and nurture an analytics community of practice, fostering collaboration and sharing best practices across teams.
- Travel: Occasional domestic travel may be required (up to 10%).
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/advanced degree in Computer Science, Analytics/Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in analytics platform development, visualization tools, Power BI or Tableau, coding, preferably in global operations and supply chain environments. In addition, excellent understanding of IT, digital, data engineering and data analytics.
- Advanced skills in Excel (including VBA, pivot tables), Power BI (DAX, Power Query), and proficiency in analytics tools such as SQL, Python (PySpark), or R.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes (PLAN, MAKE, SOURCE, DELIVER) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Experience in project leadership and Agile methodologies; strong communication and interpersonal skills essential. Proven ability to coordinate cross functional teams of Supply Chain, IT and other key stakeholders.
- Certification or experience in Lean Six Sigma, Process Excellence, or similar methodologies preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leveraging advanced analytics to drive business impact and process improvements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong ownership and can-do-mentality.
- Proven track record of identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing best practices in data management and analytics.
Pay Range:
$112,300.00 - $150,000.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
