What Does a Typical Day Look Like for a Brand Copywriter?
As our Copywriter, your key role involves producing empowering content that aligns with our 'Move for what moves you' lifestyle and inspires the audience to lead an active life throughout all life's moments. Collaborating with all departments, from Advertising to Marketing and Social Media, you will write copy that informs and entertains, elevating our brand's presence across various platforms, such as our website, online ads, and community events.
Responsibilities:
-Craft compelling copy that resonates with a wide audience, maintaining a universal language.
-Develop and maintain consistent messaging across all marketing materials.
-Collaborate closely with the creative and brand marketing teams to ensure alignment with overarching brand strategies.
-Conceptualize and execute big-picture ideas that elevate the brand’s presence in the mass apparel market.
-Write engaging and persuasive content for various platforms, including website, social media, email campaigns, and print materials.
-Conduct thorough research to understand the target audience, market trends, and competitors.
-Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
-Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to marketing campaigns.
-Develop copy, such as taglines and slogans, and copy direction for large scale marketing campaigns
-Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing content and make data-driven improvements.
-Mentor junior copywriters and provide constructive feedback to help them grow and develop their skills.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a copywriter in marketing, preferably within the apparel or athleisure industry.
-Ability to adapt tone and style to appeal to diverse demographics.
-Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and strategic thinking.
-Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
-Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
-Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
-Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing strategies.
-Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
