Sentara Norfolk General 6K Medicine Unit is hiring for a Registered Nurse for a Temporary Traveler Position! Must have two or more years of current acute care RN hospital experience. Must have valid RN LIc.
Day shift
$70 per hour for a contract and Potential $5000 sign on bonus
Eligible for $5000 Sign on Bonus living more than 50 miles from the facility working.
Department/Position Overview: We are a 42-bed Medical Specialties Unit. Our diverse patient population includes but is not limited to CHF, Sickle Cell, Renal Failure, Vascular, Sepsis, COPD, Pneumonia, Osteomyelitis w/ Surgical Interventions, Wound Care and, an assortment of varying disease processes.
We one main Nursing Station and 7 Substations. Within those Substations you can visualize your patient assignment and govern your own work area. Equipment utilized on unit has EPIC integration, thus decreasing your time inputting data. We live out our no staff left behind motto and teamwork model by staying in contact with each other through the shift, including our management team.
