MANUFACTURING/PRODUCTION MANAGER
Manager responsible for Value Stream, with Assembly Lines 1 -9, Sheet Metal, Copper, Electrical Box pre-assembly and Finished Goods Warehouse/Shipping areas, including:
- Production capacity and direct headcount planning
- Support associate training programs
- Maintain Shop floor 5S
- Support/Adopt BPS Essentials 14Q Principles
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field of study
• 7-10 years with production/manufacturing or related role and 5 to 7 years in a managerial capacity
• Experience leading multi-functional, diverse, and cross departmental teams – driving improvements and changes
• Knowledge of TPM
• Working knowledge of Industry 4.0
• Analytical problem-solving techniques, Shainin, Six Sigma or similar
• Effective applied knowledge of machining practices and procedures, and a broad knowledge of basic engineering principles as they apply
• Exceptional continuous improvement process skills in direct and indirect areas
• Strong proactive, analytical, problem solving, planning and organization skills
• Thorough knowledge of Manufacturing principles Production Systems, Lean Manufacturing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in international teams/networks – intercultural flexibility
• Must be a proactive, self-motivated individual with the ability to coach associates and be a role model
• Ability to travel domestic and international as required
