Job Summary
Johanson & Fairless L.L.P. is a Trial Lawyer Firm seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. Applicants MUST be licensed Attorneys with 1-3 years’ experience, strong writing skills, and be highly organized and punctual. Be passionate about providing high-quality legal services to our clients.

Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of legal issues
- Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Draft and respond to discovery and to develop a discovery plan
- Develop and execute a litigation plan of action
- Manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously
- Communicate with clients and prepare initial and continually updated client reports
- Manage client billing, budgeting, and case management requirements
- Participate in and conduct depositions, mediations, and court hearings
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed and Eligible to Practice in Texas
- 1-3 years of work experience
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
