OVERVIEW
A fast-growing software development company is seeking a highly organized and collaborative project manager, with financial sector experience, to lead an exciting 6-month project with a global team.
This role requires a strong understanding of financial crime or AI/ML technologies and the ability to seamlessly manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with a global team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
- Compensation: $65/hour
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia
- Job Type: Hybrid (2 days in the office per week; 3 days from home)
- Duration: 6-month contract
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead and manage project development and delivery, ensuring timely and successful completion within budget
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Coordinate resources and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and report on key metrics.
- Effectively communicate project status and manage stakeholder expectations.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Proven experience in project management (incl. budget management), preferably within the financial sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial crime or AI/ML technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- PowerBI, Agile, and/or PMI certification a plus, but not required
