Job Title: Quality Engineer
Job Description:
- Responsible for the complete management of new product programs and program updates while revising process if needed.
- Handles the 8D process with customer and suppliers
- Responsible for the IQI (Internal quality issues) process
- Part of the document control process – has to be able to write instructions and Quality alerts
- Serves as a technical point of contact while establishing a developmental relationship with the customers.
- Ensures 100% conformance to IMS Quality System in production operations for product engineering activities (TS16949/IATF16949 participation)
- Develops and implements interfaces between APQP, manufacturing/support resources and processes as a team member
- Specifies manufacturing and quality processes (including PPAP, MSA, FMEAs, Control Plans, etc.) to support customer production requirement and realization
- Creates inspection plans and assures inspection plans in our Quality system (B&W) are followed
- Responsible for identifying and developing improvements to the processes in support of the company goals
- Process completes with Customer; Supplier; Internal and coordinate immediate and corrective measures
- Prepare and accompany customer/certification audits
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
- Computer skills (MS Office)
- Capable to read part and assembly drawing (GDT is part of this)
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
