Director of Properties / NYC
We are looking for an estate manager to join our team in this newly created role.
Seeking candidates with a hands-on, flexible approach
Responsibilities
- All planning and preparation for family stays at properties in New York, South Florida, and Connecticut
- Leading service and seeing to all principal requirements during their stay
- Support the operation of residences, managing other staff members
- Additional Staffing requirements (calling on trusted dayworkers to assist when required or hiring wait staff for events and dinners)
- Clothing management and care
- Travel and travel booking
- Inventory management: provisioning, dry stores, wine and alcohol, toiletries, medication, clothing, linens, crockery, cutlery and glassware
- Assisting with meal and/or chef logistics
- Assisting in the planning and running of events
- Financial management including budgeting, maintaining credit card receipts, submitting invoices to Family Office for payment
- Source, liaise and negotiate with household vendors
- Supervision of maintenance, repairs, construction and renovation projects

Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years professional working experience
- Open to candidates from diverse professional/industry backgrounds
- Must pass a comprehensive background check
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid Passport
Compensation range: $150k-175k
