Hi-Tek Manufacturing is searching for experienced 2nd shift Turn / Lathe CNC Operators who wish to develop his or her career in advanced manufacturing technology by executing a higher level of workmanship. 3:30pm - 12:00am Mon-Fri *OT may be required as needed.

Essential Duties and Tasks:
- Operate regular (horizontal) or VTL (vertical) lathe machines
- Follow all Hi-Tek policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE
- Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications
- Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary.
- Maintain working knowledge of CNC principles, including G and M codes
- Maintain working knowledge of rotary/linear axes
- Selects, aligns, and secures fixtures, tooling, and workpieces on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.
- Analyze, interpret CMM reports, and properly offset machine dimensions to meet customer specifications
- Perform Deburr operations to within specified tolerances
- Operate overhead crane when necessary
- Report proper labor hours in the ERP system
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties
- Capable of running multiple machines, when assigned
- Demonstrates the ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally

Physical Conditions:
- Lift, push and/or pull 35 pounds regularly
- Stand at least 95% of the scheduled shift
- Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping in order to move and set tools, equipment and material.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, color perception, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 20/20 vision (corrected) required with ability to pass annual vision test as required
- Perform under AS9100 quality standards and NADCAP accreditation
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
- Lathe, Shaft, or Turning experience required - Min 1 yr.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to perform basic math functions including basic trigonometry
- Troubleshooting/problem-solving skills
- Must be a United States Citizen, or an US Permanent Resident
