The Senior Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of multifamily construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires extensive experience in high-rise construction, excellent leadership skills, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for multifamily high-rise projects. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, including project managers, engineers, and site supervisors. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Maintain strong relationships and ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and project delivery.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial objectives are met. Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management.
- Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
- Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure all contractual obligations are met.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years specifically managing multifamily mid-rise or high-rise projects.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. In-depth knowledge of high-rise construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
