As the semiconductor industry within the US continues to grow as a result of the CHIPS act, one of our clients is seeking an Onsite Service Engineer to help support customers at assigned customer sites. This role would suit a junior level engineer seeking to establish themselves within the industry, or an experienced service engineer seeking the opportunity to join a global semiconductor company that can offer unparalleled career progression.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000
Key responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service through utilising electromechanical skills.
- Execute installation and troubleshooting on vacuum pumps, abatement, and delivery systems.
- Uphold safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment whilst following all site fab protocol requirements.
- Utilise test equipment and tools to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively within a team whilst upholding a high level of professionalism.
- Understand instructions and guidance from direct line supervisor.
Key requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Either an Associate’s degree in a relevant technical field, relevant military experience or 2-3 years of equivalent experience instead of academic experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant technical field such as electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, or basic vacuum.
- Eagerness to support the company in offering a high level of customer service, maintaining the company's reputation as a leader within the industry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills alongside a high level of professionalism and punctuality.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams. A solid understanding of equipment including various test meters, hand tools, and power tools.
- Excellent experience in using Microsoft Office.
- Successful completion of Physical Capability assessment Drug screen required.
