Commercial Real Estate Analyst
NYC’s top Real Estate Brokerage firm, conveniently located in NYC, seeks an ideal individual to act as an Analyst for our Investment Sales Division

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, with strong financial acumen and the ability to analyze market trends and underwrite investments. Analyst Responsibilities:
· Work with the investment sales team to help underwrite new deals.
· Track and analyze all aspects of the local commercial real estate market.
· Coordinate with underwriters, production team and borrowers for collection of loan due diligence materials
· Develop, implement, and lead strategic research plan that aligns with the firm’s local business objectives.
· Serve as a market “expert” with extensive detailed knowledge of the macro and micro factors affecting the market.
Review and analyze basic third-party report data (appraisals, physical condition assessment reports, environmental reports)
· Responsible for managing the production of all local research reports, expanding and improving the research platform, program, and output.
· Maintain ongoing statistical analysis for the local real estate market(s).
· Present compelling trends and analyses to internal teams and clients on a regularly basis.
· Responsible for analyzing and creating reports on the local real estate market and regional economy with respect to real estate news, employment statistics, major company activities, industry trends, and demographics that affect the local real estate market.
- Input and analyze rent roll and operating financials into Excel-based financial analysis spreadsheets and models
Analyst Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in real estate, accounting, finance, or related field.
· 1+ years’ experience as an analyst in the commercial real estate industry.
· Extensive Microsoft Excel & MS product experience.
· ARGUS Enterprise knowledge & experience.
· Ability to implement a Discounted Cash Flow model in Excel.
· Basic knowledge of commercial real estate leasing and associated terminology.
· General understanding of private equity, investment risk and real estate investments.
· Prior exposure to commercial real estate properties/assets including office, industrial asset classes.
· Analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, strong written and oral communication skills.
· Self-starter with the ability to work independently, thinking proactively and strategically.
NYS Salesperson License preferred but can obtain after start date
