CoWorx Staffing Services has an exciting opportunity to join one of our premier clients as a Facility Manager in the Sardis, MS area. This is an opportunity to join an evolving and growing dynamic enterprise. The purpose of the Facility Manager is to perform many maintenance, safety, and management tasks that promote a clean and safe working environment for the building's employees. The role is accountable for working with contractors and vendors, protecting facility assets and building maintenance. This will also include equipment installation, contractor management and preventative maintenance.

Maintenance & Facilities
- Performing general maintenance, such as changing light bulbs, and manual repairs.
- This may also include managing preventive maintenance contracts for HVAC, alarms, and other equipment.
- Equipment installation and preventative maintenance.
- Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff.
- The role is accountable for building maintenance.
- Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed.
- Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders.
- Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors when needed.
- Responsible for developing budgets and long-range facilities plans based on company growth and future facilities need.
- Oversees the coordination of space allocation and layout, supplies, cleanliness, services, and networking requirements.
- Monitors budgets and approves contracts and purchases.
- Be aligned, collaborate, and eventually execute activities to accomplish the Yancey plan.
- Building structure, forklift equipment, electrical, general support, to ensure that all site safety and waste management policies are in full compliance.
Security
- Is responsible for facilities security, providing protection of company personnel and property.
- Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals. Protecting assets of the Facility.
- Develops, implements, and maintains security procedures to meet required codes and regulations.
- Analyzes loss control and accident reports.
- Coordinating and administering security clearances and other policies and procedures in compliance with government agencies, certifications, and regulations such as ESG and waste compliance.
Safety
- Ensuring that the facility is safe and functional, by inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations.
- This may also include responding to emergencies, such as fire alarms, HVAC system alarms, and security alarms.
- Coordinating cleaning needs with the cleaning service and trash removal and negotiating contracts with service providers.
- Supervising security officers, maintenance, groundskeepers, custodians, and cleaners
- Identifying areas for greater efficiency and cost-saving
- Ensuring the department is staffed during business hours
- This role is responsible for site safety, leading the way with best practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Expected to help create a culture of safety with all team members, educating staff, reporting incidents, and driving root cause counter measures to mitigate risks.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Facilities Management, Facilities Engineering or related qualification such as project management, business management or construction management
- working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- working knowledge of procurement and contracts
