About the role
Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Oracle Finance solutions that align with the organization's financial objectives and overall business strategy. This position requires deep expertise in Oracle Financials, as well as a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Delivery
- Design and implement Oracle Financials solutions that meet business needs with focus on industry best practices
- Lead the enterprise design/process design along with client business team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle Financials with other 3rd party applications
- Provide functional and technical leadership and guidance to development teams and consultants working on projects.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution designs, and configuration guides.
- Prepare and deliver status reports to senior management and internal/external stakeholders
- Mentor and train team members and client super-users on Oracle Finance best practices and solutions.
- Stay Informed on with Oracle updates, industry best practices, and emerging trends in finance and technology.
Sales & Marketing
- Develop optimal solutions to meet client objectives, including Understanding project scope and identifying key dependencies
- Proposing high-level solutions & delivery estimates
- Lead demonstrations during client presentations & orals
- Lead conversations with client CxOs, Senior VPs and Directors across business and IT
- Work with alliance partners (Oracle and others) to generate leads and maintain relationships.
- Create unique value position of the Calfus’ solutions and offerings
Requirement:
- CPA (or equivalent) or master’s degree in finance
- 15+ years’ experience in Oracle Financials (Fusion + EBS)
- Must have carried at least 3 end to end implementations on Oracle Fusion Financials
- Deep expertise in Oracle ERP modules in Financials plus a working knowledge on Procurement and SCM
- Experience in implementing finance shared services
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex business problems
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with executive-level stakeholders
- Experience and willingness to work in a distributed environment including global delivery model
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and project engagements
