Summer Associate Program
Saber Law Group is looking for two to three highly qualified rising 3L candidates interested in litigation and/or employment law for our Summer Program (10 weeks, June through August). In our Summer Program you will be given substantive research and writing assignments in a variety of practice areas including employment law, commercial litigation and employment advice and counseling, as well as opportunities to participate in client meetings, negotiations, court hearings, depositions, and other real-world law firm work experiences.
We believe in cultivating the talent of tomorrow. As a result, while we have a hybrid work model, Summer Associates should plan to be in the office at least three days each week for mentorship and collaborating with attorneys and staff. Candidates will also be considered for part-time law clerk positions for the remainder of the school year. Those graduating candidates who have completed our Summer Program may also be considered for full-time associate positions following the passage of the bar examination. Summer Associates receive a $30,000 stipend paid over the course of the 10-week program. Part-time law clerks are paid an hourly rate of $65.00.
Candidates must have an excellent law school and undergraduate academic credentials. Strong writing, analytical and communication skills are required. Law review, journal participation, moot court, and/or demonstrated relevant employment experience are preferred. Candidates should have demonstrated connections or interest in starting their legal career in Northern California. Please submit your cover letter, resume, entire 1L and 2L first semester transcripts (unofficial is acceptable), and a brief writing sample. In your cover letter, please explain your interest in litigation and/or employment law.
Please send all required materials to careers@saberlaw.com. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
