Cloud Operations Specialist – Permanant – (100% Remote, Hybrid in Raleigh, NC preferred) – $65,000 - $65,000
The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Cloud Operations Specialist. This position can sit 100% Remote but is preferred for candidates to work Hybrid in the Raleigh, NC area
Shift: Thursday through Monday (Off Tuesdays & Wednesdays) 3:45pm EST to 12:15am EST
Role Description
• They will manage and maintain remote monitoring and management systems.
• They will Onboard and offboard clients and agents.
• They will troubleshoot and resolve issues with remote agents.
• They will perform and remediate issues identified from routine client health checks.
• They will develop and implement automation scripts.
• They will provide thorough and excellent technical support to clients as needed.
• They will use their expertise in performance monitoring tool alerts, dashboards, and data trend analysis in a monitoring tool
• They will employ customer service expertise to help manage tasks and organize large amounts of data to use for instrumentation into an enterprise monitoring solution
• They will provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Create, develop and tweak documentation
• They will work closely with the monitoring operations teams, production support, performance test teams, operations, application owners and application owners to deliver best-in-class monitoring
• They will be responsible for reducing Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR) incidents
• They will support day to day administration, maintenance, and management of monitoring tools
• They will ensure monitoring products and integrations are functioning correctly and works with owners to modify as required
• They will monitor the responsiveness and availability of critical systems for our customers and internal systems
• They will act promptly to events and alerts to resolve potential issues and operational risks
• They will check dashboards and coordinate the resolution of incidents
• They will continuously analyze platform behavior and give recommendations for improvements based on facts to support all aspects of the day-to-day operations
• They will participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance client service, efficiency and reliability
• They will follow procedures to detect issues and troubleshoot accordingly
• They will analyze logs, charts and metrics to find insightful information for incident or problem resolution
• They will write and maintain up-to-date technical documentation related to the position
• They will participate actively in incident and problem management.
Skills & Requirements
• Must have 1 certification (no exceptions) Certification can be in: AWS Cloud Fundamentals, AZ900, Google Cloud Foundation, any of the foundational certifications in the cloud space are fine. The certification levels for Azure, Google Cloud and AWS include: foundational, administrative, and professional. If one has a higher level certification, the questions during the interview will be more challenging.
• Ideally they would have 2+ year technical support ; this is public cloud support; so this would be ideal.
• Someone that is involved and actively learning new technologies; staying abreast of technology.
