Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a local law firm to identify a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Real Estate Lawyer to join our team as a senior member of the team. As a Partner in the Commercial Real Estate practice, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing client relationships, overseeing complex transactions, and contributing to the growth of the firm. You will collaborate closely with senior partners and lead a team of associates to deliver high-quality legal services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development projects.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients on a wide range of commercial real estate matters.
- Negotiate and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
- Conduct due diligence, review title and survey documents, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Mentor and supervise junior associates, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including networking, client presentations, and participation in industry events.
- Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm to provide integrated legal solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar in MN.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a strong track record of managing complex transactions.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate finance, leasing, and development.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
