We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Designer to join our clients team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and work in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare calculations on proposed machines before completing technical drawings.
- Sketch and draw up designs using input from team engineers.
- Calculate factors like tolerance and dimensions.
- Create designs in line with company procedures and client standards.
- Submit drawings for team and production approval.
- Use customer feedback and data to upgrade, improve, or repair existing designs.
- Provide support during the building and installation process.
- Finalize designs and send prints to the production department.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience in a Design role or related experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Extensive CAD knowledge (AutoCAD Inventor preferred).
- Strong computer and analytical skills.
- Experience designing industry parts, machined and sheet metal assemblies, and products with CAD.
- Flexible approach to work and ability to adapt to change.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative.
