Mid-Level Associate - Energy & Natural Resources (Houston, Texas)
Our client, a top Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate with 3-4 years of experience for their Energy & Natural Resources Industry Group. This position is based in the firm’s Houston office.
Overview:
Key responsibilities will include management of various secured transactions related to personal property as collateral, such as security agreements, inter-creditor agreements and joinder agreements.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience in finance and secured transactions, particularly those relating to energy transactions.
- Familiarity with commodity purchase and sale transactions, natural gas and electricity markets, and derivatives is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Must hold a JD from an accredited law school and have excellent academic credentials.
- Texas Bar admission is required.
