We design and manufacture microprocessor-based controllers for the HVAC/R industry. Our product line also includes refrigeration compressors, temperature, pressure, humidity, and current sensors, as well as custom support software. The Technical Support Specialist will facilitate the growth of the company by providing the highest level of customer service and support through the following activities:
Core Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Help customers via phone or email with the process of troubleshooting their equipment, Start-up procedures, and uploading Firmware and Configurations
- Analyze situations and determine resources needed to solve them, asking for assistance when needed
- Develop Configurations, Drawings, and Graphics within a timely manner based on information provided on Sales Order
- Review daily priorities and take appropriate action to ensure results are achieved, providing the status of ongoing projects and future projects to the supervisor
- Ensure Project goals and expectations are met or exceeded
- Travel as required for Field Support and ensure projects are completed to customer satisfaction
- Participate in ongoing training for Tech Support Team to help maintain the level of product and application knowledge
- Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications/Competencies
- No experience needed but HVAC Certification is mandatory
- Prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously
- Perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment
- Experience skills including Excel, Outlook, Word
- Excellent communication skills
