Role: Inside Sales Engineer
We’re best-in-class individually, but even better together. As a part of our Sales team, you will be responsible for designing and creating HVAC equipment selections for Mechanical Engineering Firms in the NYC Metro area, Long Island and Westchester. Partnering with an Outside Salesperson(s), you’ll help push through deals faster, with more efficiency and precise attention to detail. You’ll get exposure to some of the most challenging, complex, and iconic building projects in the New York City and beyond!
Responsibilities:
- Support/coordinate with your respective Outside Salesperson or person(s). This will be your most important collaboration as you will help support their clients, deals and projects.
- Design equipment for engineers and contractors utilizing manufacturer’s software.
- Review design documents and specifications to provide pricing estimates.
- Creation of proposals and generating pricing documentation.
- Order, process and track equipment purchasing in conjunction with an internal software sales platform
- Maintain constant and clear communication with clients through all aspects of the construction and fabrication process.
- Compile installation, operation and maintenance manuals and closeout documentation for projects.
- Coordinate onsite startup services and technical owner training for sold equipment.
Requirements:
- The ability to problem solve. Our projects are complex and have many moving parts. The ideal candidate will know how to roll up their sleeves and search for answers.
- You’re a team player. We achieve success together. The team is here to support you and is looking for people who want to contribute and grow together.
- Clear communication. You will be interacting with teammates, manufacturers and clients. Strong written and verbal communication is key.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe or Bluebeam
Preferred:
- Engineering Degree
- 1 – 2 years in HVAC industry
