Seeking a Bio-Conjugation Scientist for a consulting position at a pharmaceutical client in Spring House, PA. This role is on-site, 40 hours/week.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will contribute to a team working on design and characterization of drug candidates based on protein conjugates. They will contribute to the development of therapeutics such as antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), nucleic acid conjugates (siRNA, antisense, etc.), and peptide/small molecule conjugates. This scientist will work closely with team members and will primarily be responsible for conjugation, purification, and analytical characterization of these molecules. They will also be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, summarizing, and presenting experimental data. Additional responsibilities may include laboratory duties such as instrument and inventory maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a B.S. degree (or equivalent), at least 2 years of work experience, and training/experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Biochemistry
• Protein science
• Conjugation chemistry
• Preparative and/or analytical chromatography
- The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of problem solving, good organizational habits, excellent communication skills, the ability to work under timelines, and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
- Previous bioconjugation experience is preferred but is not required.
