Camblin Steel Service, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Legal Counsel with a minimum of two years of experience and a background in construction contracting and related development to join our team. This position is located in Roseville, CA.
Responsibilities
- *Prepares, reviews and revises contracts and other legal documents
- *Subcontract Administrator
- *Collections
- *Litigation oversight
- *Assists with the development of system policies and procedures
- *Assists with the supervision and education of in-house legal counsel and staff
- *Manage outside legal counsel
- *Mergers and acquisitions
- *Provides legal support for the organization's corporate compliance, privacy and security officers
Qualifications
- *Transactional Experience - Minimum of two years of transactional experience, including experience leading contract negotiation and interfacing directly with business teams in the process of contract negotiation
- *Experience with construction and/or government contracts is an advantage, but not necessary
- *Leadership Capacity - A proven leader with the ability to work independently and coordinate strategy and drive effective collaboration among senior executives, project teams, and outside counsel
