What You Need:
- Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Bachelors preferred3+ years of experience in machining, CNC programming, and metrology
- Proficiency in GD&T for part design and inspection
- Expertise in turning processes and precision metrology
- Automotive experience highly preferred

What Your Role Will Look Like:
The Production Engineer (Machining) will provide critical engineering support for manufacturing processes, focusing on optimizing turning operations and leveraging metrology in alignment with the plant's expanded machining capabilities.
- Design, develop, and optimize machining processes, with a focus on turning operations.
- Analyze and improve machining techniques to enhance product quality.
- Utilize and understand special equipment related to machining, including vision systems and performance testers.
- Provide technical guidance for daily operations and long-term machining projects.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design and test tooling, fixtures, and gauging for machining applications.
- Support process changes, new product introductions, and equipment installations.
