We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist for a direct hire position located in Fullerton, California. Our client, a reputable organization, is looking for an experienced individual to manage full-cycle payroll processes. Responsibilities:
As a Payroll Specialist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Full-Cycle Payroll: Manage end-to-end payroll processes, including deductions, garnishments, and adding new employees to the system.
- Perform bi-weekly payroll
- Employee Payroll: Perform payroll for a workforce of 300+ employees.
- Balance payroll budget including commissions, bonuses, regular and OT wages.
- Review timecard punches and make edits if needed.
- Retrieve appropriate approval from manager for timecards
- Set up direct deposits
- Multi-State Payroll: Handle payroll responsibilities for multiple states, including California and Pennsylvania.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years relevant experience in full-cycle payroll processes.
- Exposure to Paycom and ADP WFN.
- Familiarity with multi-state payroll, including California and Pennsylvania.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in payroll data entry.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
