Our client is seeking a seasoned Healthcare Litigation Partner to join their esteemed team in Fort Lauderdale. As the complexity of regulatory disputes and civil litigation within the healthcare industry escalates, the firm continues to set the standard in delivering strategic, innovative, and effective legal solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex healthcare litigation matters from initial investigation through trial, arbitration, or appeal.
- Develop and implement innovative litigation strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with the firm’s multidisciplinary team of attorneys to provide comprehensive legal services across a broad spectrum of healthcare issues, including commercial disputes, regulatory conflicts, and medical negligence claims.
- Serve as a key advisor to clients, offering guidance on regulatory compliance, risk management, and the defense of medical malpractice and other healthcare-related claims.
- Act as national or regional litigation counsel for clients, overseeing large-scale discovery projects and coordinating litigation efforts across multiple jurisdictions.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in Florida.
- Extensive experience in healthcare litigation, with a strong background in handling complex regulatory and civil litigation matters.
- Proven track record of successful litigation outcomes, including trial experience in state and federal courts.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, particularly in relation to privacy and security issues.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop and implement innovative legal solutions.
