The Generator Technician is responsible for providing on-site and phone troubleshooting, repair, equipment modifications, installation and support Generac Industrial products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of mechanical design, AC and DC circuitry, power generation, wiring schematics, and connection diagrams
- Troubleshoot and make independent decisions
- Experienced in Electronics, Electromechanical Technology
- Knowledge of power generation; light tower, pumps, and heating products
- Spark Ignited knowledge
- Daily travel to the job site(s) with an independent work structure
What you’ll bring:
- 6-10+ years servicing and troubleshooting Emergency Power Supply Systems
- High School Diploma
- Understanding of components and operation of an electrical distribution system
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company standards
