Position: Senior Data Engineer

Our client, an innovative software industry leader, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join their dynamic team in Cambridge, MA. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and on-site 2-3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust data lakes and data warehouses.
- Develop, test, and maintain SQL and Python code to manage and manipulate data.
- Optimize and manage cloud-based solutions, primarily using AWS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
- Ensure data security, integrity, and scalability across all platforms.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with Python, SQL, and AWS (Azure experience will also be considered).
- Proven experience with data lakes and data warehouses.
- Proficiency in cloud services, with a preference for AWS (EC2 or Lambda experience is highly desirable). Experience with Azure is also acceptable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Compensation:
