Job Summary: The Construction Assistant Superintendent supports the Construction Superintendent in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. The Assistant Superintendent plays a vital role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Superintendent in planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and project documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and review of project plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment on the construction site.
- Represent the Superintendent in meetings and on-site as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:

Working Conditions:
