Vulnerability Management Business Analyst
Duration: 9 months plus
Location – 3 days onsite per week
The Vulnerability Management Business Analyst will play a key role in managing and analyzing program metrics and development activities related to vulnerability management. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills to drive collaboration across teams, break down business requirements into actionable development tasks, and support the automation of reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationships with partners to facilitate the completion of critical development activities.
- Lead regular forums with development teams to translate business requirements into actionable development tasks.
- Analyze and manage program metrics and reporting, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Author and maintain business requirement documents (BRDs) and user stories for developer backlogs.
- Prioritize work efforts based on business and management priorities.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with partnering organizations to automate manual metrics and reporting processes.
- Provide support to the GEM Operations Lead on ad-hoc requests.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in vulnerability management or as a business analyst.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with:
- JIRA for project tracking and sprint grooming.
- SDLC best practices.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Reporting applications and data analysis.
- Ability to solve complex data flow challenges with innovative solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of querying for data analysis.
- Experience with at least one programming language (PowerShell, Python, C#, etc.).
- Strong work ethic, proactive mindset, and ability to think outside the box to solve problems.
- Experience with automation and optimization of repetitive processes and reporting.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
