NOCO seeks a passionate and driven Senior Electrical Engineer to help design new and innovative products. This position will work closely with engineering, industrial design, and testing teams to ensure the fastest path to market while maintaining our strict design, quality, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Full life-cycle design from initial concept to production.
- Analog and digital circuit design.
- Writing design specifications and test reports.
- Product testing and validation.
- Coordinating with other engineering disciplines.
- Supporting manufacturing activities.
- Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior engineers.
- Occasional travel to suppliers and customers is required.

Essential Knowledge and Experience
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 7 years of experience, with significant design and product development experience.
- Broad knowledge of analog and digital circuits.
- Design, simulation, and circuit analysis.
- Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout using common ECAD systems such as Altium, Mentor Graphics or Eagle.
- Design for EMC and compliance.
- Design for manufacturing and test.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug electronic circuits and systems.
- Competent with lab equipment such as DMM, oscilloscope, data acquisition, etc.
Desirable Knowledge and Experience
The successful candidate has experience or knowledge in some of the following areas.
- Power Electronics
- DC Motor Control
- Lithium-Ion Batteries and Battery Management Systems
- Micro-controllers
- Communications buses (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.)
- Embedded programming
