Our team at Skale Dental Professionals is looking for a dental hygienist to join our amazing team. We are a privately owned, well established and high performing dental practice located in Northbrook.
We are looking to hire a hygienist to be part of a great dental and healthcare team.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO WORK ON Monday 9-5pm, Tuesday 9-6, Wednesday 9-5, Thursday 8am-2pm with potential for Friday and/or Saturday hours but can also discuss further opportunities.
This position is a role which requires communication and verbal skills to thrive at greeting patients, cleaning teeth, scaling and root planing, patient education on oral hygiene and working with doctors and patients on identifying any dental or oral health concerns. This hygienist will work closely with our doctors and our team while having positive energy.
While we are very busy and have a large patient base, our team is small, with 2 doctors, 2 hygienists and 5 key team members. We will be excited to welcome you into this great opportunity as our newest key team member! We depend upon each other! Our practice prides itself on having ethical, healthcare and business practice standards and is looking for someone who is dependable that embodies these characteristics.
Essential Tasks:
greets patients arriving in office for scheduled appointments
schedules recare for patients out after completed treatment
Adult and pediatric prophylaxis
Scaling and Root Planing
Digital photographs, intraoral photographs
iTero scanning
panoramic and digital x-rays
general office support, sanitization of instruments, flipping rooms, helping problem solve, working with the team, supporting others where needed

Dental Specifics:
- we use Dentrix dental software
- General dentistry practice that provides comprehensive care including Invisalign, Implants, Cosmetics, Surgery and Preventative Care.
