ROLE OVERVIEW
Work Arrangement – Remote
As a key member of the ghd North America Education team, the Field Education Manager is responsible for driving educational initiatives and showcasing the innovative ghd portfolio of tools to both professionals and consumers. This role involves collaborating closely with customers and internal teams to effectively implement and execute the education strategy across all channels.
JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads engaging and motivating seminars both in person and digitally for licensed beauty professionals, premium retail partners, and consumers covering foundational product knowledge as well as advanced techniques and skills.
- Demonstrates ghd tools and their benefits through hands-on workshops, presentations, and live demonstrations.
- Tailors educational strategies to meet the needs of various audiences, ensuring high engagement and understanding.
- Partners with education team both locally and globally to localize and deploy education assets.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with external customers, including salons and retailers, to coordinate and execute training sessions and educational events.
- Manages operational needs, booking systems and internal coordination including managing projects and working with the cross functional teams.
- Helps coordinate new product launch education strategy for premium retail, internal teams, salons, & educators.
- Works collaboratively with all ghd internal departments including Marketing, Finance, Operations, Digital and HR teams.
- Upholds the high standards of integrity for both the brand and the company in all areas.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in education, training, or a related field, preferably within the beauty or professional tools industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Proficient with social media content creation to influence customer engagement.
- A team player possessing strong interpersonal skills with an ability to develop relationships and communicate with all levels of management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with excellent problem solving and analytical skills and the commitment to follow-through.
- Solid computer skills including proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, & PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel as needed to execute training programs and attend industry events.
- In touch with current trends within the beauty/hair industry.
- Minimum 5 years hair dressing experience behind the chair.
- Valid Cosmetology License within the state of residence
