Technology Lead - M&A Separation/Divestment – Financial Services
A consultancy is assisting a financial services firm with an M&A related transaction and have an opportunity for a Technology Lead to play a key client-side role on the transaction. You will be responsible for post-deal implementation work, i.e. planning and execution on divestment and transition work, providing a breadth of advice and implementation experience on the implications of the deal for core technology, enterprise applications, infrastructure, cyber security, and the business.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in post-divestment technology separations and the re-building of technology functions in new organisations, as well as structure programme management skills and the ability to drive large programmes of work within regulated financial services environment.
You should apply for this role if you are/have:
- 12+ years progressive technology experience across financials services and consulting industries
- Proven experience in technology separation or divestment at scale, within regulated industries
- Breadth and depth of technology experience across multiple functions or from a chief technology office
- A background in technology or management consulting is preferred, especially in M&A related transactions
- Structured programme leadership and management experience, from shaping through to execution and implementation
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution
This is a Senior Manager or Director level contract role, based on a day rate, dependent on experience. It is a largely remote role with office in NY.
