Position Summary
ORNL Federal Credit Union is searching for a seasoned lending executive to join their executive management team as the Chief Lending Officer. As an inspirational leader, this individual will create the vision and execute the credit union’s lending strategy, direct and coordinate all lending activities while ensuring compliance with all lending policies, state and federal regulations. Other responsibilities include assisting in the development of lending policies, managing lending activities to meet organizational goals and objectives while ensuring strong credit quality, maintaining concentration risk metrics, and the safety and soundness of the portfolio. The ideal candidate will exhibit an extensive knowledge of collections, consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending along with servicing in order to assist ORNL in delivering on its winning proposition and support the credit union’s commitments to its members and community. A relevant degree and 10 years’ experience in a financial institution with direct responsibility for lending functions is required. Experience managing Consumer, Collections, Residential and/or Business lending functions required. Advanced degree and/or Lending School certifications preferred.
