Business Analyst Technical Manager - Hybrid
Innova Solutions has an immediate need for a Business Analyst Technical Manager to work hybrid in Birmingham AL:
- This job is onsite 4 days per week in Birmingham AL
- Job is direct hire, fulltime job
- Prior experience with insurance eligibility, group and individual billings, adjudication of claims, reporting systems is nice to have
- SQL and report development experience required
The Manager also works in partnership with Actuarial Services, Sales, Marketing Communications/Support, Claims/BGA, Billing Services, Enrollment Services, Health Management, Healthcare Networks, IT Application Development, Legal and Prime (Pharmacy Benefit Manager). The Underwriting Manager must remain abreast of the latest changes and guidelines impacting the area including federal and state mandates, new product development, new technologies, etc.
Summary of Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 3 years of experience in Underwriting, Group Control, Financial Accounting, Internal Audit, etc. nice to have
- Excellent computer skills, including experience creating and working with spreadsheets
- Experience prioritizing work and the organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects and staff
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Experience utilizing a high degree of problem solving and diagnostic skills to develop creative, practical, and cost-effective solutions
- Skills involving negotiation, persuasion, dealing with difficult people and situations, assertiveness, teambuilding, and customer service
- Experience communicating effectively through both oral and written means
- Knowledge of insurance corporate systems and processes, especially related to eGEMS strongly preferred
- Experience in business/data analysis and managing large scale projects, including gathering requirements, developing project plans, fit/gap analysis and preparation of functional design documents preferred
- Experience developing user acceptance testing scripts and leading system implementations preferred
- Business Analyst/Project Management experience preferred
- Experience writing complex queries using SQL preferred
- Experience using Tableau preferred
PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
