Your role at Clorox:
As a valued member of the Glad/Brita Business Unit Supply Chain Tech Team, this position focuses on serving as an engineering expert primarily dedicated to Glad Blanket Bag Conversion technology and integrated proprietary systems related to conversion equipment. The engineer collaborates closely with Operations, R&D, and the Clorox Supply Chain Central Engineering Team to enhance capabilities and optimize manufacturing performance across both Glad and Brita plants. The role requires on-site presence at Clorox facilities in Rogers, AR, for at least four days a week, with periodic business travel (averaging 25-50% annually) determined by work assignments. Additionally, occasional collaboration with Glad facilities in China, Orangeville Ontario, or external manufacturing sites contributes to advancing technology, efficiency, and reliability within the Glad/Brita Business Unit Supply Chain.
In this role, you will:
- The individual is part of a team that has a technical ownership and leadership of the Conversion Platform. The individual will lead assigned areas that include owning the platform’s management of change program, standard for theoretical rates, line capability matrix, equipment purchase specifications, and communicating short & long-term capital needs.
- Responsibilities also include providing technical oversight and guidance to others executing projects within the platform.
- Provides technical support to manufacturing during instances of new or complex problems related to Conversion systems and proprietary systems incorporated into the line.
- Regularly provides engineering leadership, consulting or support for trials and tests with R&D and other Supply Chain engineers.
- Routinely interacts with Glad Extrusion Platform Team and Operations with regard to quality and performance opportunities for improvement and Commercialization Project integration.
- In collaboration with others defines, manages, and critically reviews work products from R&D and others to provide scope input, detail for equipment system, control system, cost estimates and other engineering work for Conversion projects.
- Will periodically perform function of capital project manager, including defining project scope, cost, schedule, obtaining Capital funding, procurement, and construction management. Using Clorox engineering standards and processes develop detailed project scope of work and cost estimates related to the design, functional changes and reliability improvements of Conversion Systems. Ensures that Glad proprietary information / knowledge / innovations are protected as trade secret within Clorox and the Glad business.
- Design and lead trials in the plants to validate alternative materials or methods for cost savings, supply assurance, and quality improvements.

What we look for:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional Experience: 5+ years of progressive assignments in manufacturing and engineering, demonstrating increasing expertise and capability. Application of engineering skills to guide the design and evaluate precision machined or fabricated components and equipment setup (e.g., tooling)
- Project Management and Leadership: Demonstrated project management or team leadership experience. Ability to manage external engineering resources, contractors, or work with internal cross-functional teams. Success with manufacturing projects, including new equipment installations, system modifications, new product manufacturing, or problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong written, listening, and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with various levels and functions within a product supply organization.
- Mechanical and Process Engineering Skills: Proficiency in mechanical and process engineering. Ability to lead and evaluate engineering design, equipment conditions, and film converting process performance.
- Effective Organization and Leadership: Demonstrated ability to organize and lead meetings effectively. Previous success in cross-functional teams. Ability to lead small formal and informal teams.
- Independence and Supervision: Capability to plan and organize work independently. Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Quality Standards: Experience executing work that meets established standards and specifications.
- Business Travel: The position requires periodic business travel, averaging 25-50% annually.

The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $86,600 - $161,900
–Zone B: $79,400 - $148,400
–Zone C: $72,100 - $134,900
