Responsibilities
- Travel to Individuals and businesses to sell equipment in defined sales area
- Look over customer's existing equipment and recommend upgrades or replacements
- Provide competitive information such as price quotes, and bundling with attachments in order to establish negotiated pricing.
- Perform product demonstrations and support
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks to customers in store or on phone
- Take orders and deliver products and estimate date of delivery to customer
- Arrange for repairs as needed
- Manage and develop new customers, while maintaining existing sales within assigned customers and a given sales inventory
- Develop a call list and maintain information monthly
- Review sales reports
- Track and turn in gas and product receipts as expense report
- Must learn POS systems
- Maintain product knowledge on the features and benefits of equipment for sale and rental at the dealership. Knowledge of products related to the New Holland and Bobcat brands required.
- Analyze sales opportunities, solve customer problems, and participate in sales promotions.
- Monitor competitive activity and products
- Maintain customer data
- Understand the various financing options that of into the sale of new and used equipment.
- Attend sales events including training, meetings, and seminars related to the industry
- Maintain a professional Image
